Technique Chart as required by the "North Carolina
Regulations For Protection Against Radiation" rule .0603
(a) (1) (C) In the vicinity of each diagnostic x-ray
system's control panel, a chart shall be provided, which
specifies for all usual examinations and associated
projections which are performed by that system, a
listing of information including patient's anatomical
size versus techniques factors to be utilized at a given
source to image receptor distance.
Posting of
Radiation Warning Sign as required by the "North
Carolina Regulations For Protection Against Radiation"
rule .1623 (a) (1) (2) Unless otherwise authorized by
the agency, the symbol prescribed by the rules of this
Chapter shall use the colors magenta, or purple, or
black on yellow background.
The radiation symbol prescribed by the rules of this
Chapter is the standard three-bladed design. (1) The
blades and interior circle shall be magenta, purple, or
black; and (2) The background shall be yellow.
Rule .1624 (a) The licensee or registrant shall post
each radiation area with a conspicuous sign or signs
bearing the radiation symbol and the words: CAUTION
RADIATION AREA.
