15A NCAC 11 .1327 TRITIUM NEUTRON GENERATOR TARGET SOURCES (a) The use of a tritium neutron generator target source containing quantities of radioactive material not exceeding 30 Curies (1,110 MBq) in a well with a surface casing to protect fresh water aquifers is subject to the requirements of this Section excluding Rules .1303, .1311, and .1324. (b) The use of a tritium neutron generator target source which contains quantities of radioactive material exceeding 30 Curies (1,110 MBq) or which is used in a well without a surface casing to protect fresh water aquifers is subject to the requirements of this Section excluding Rule .1311.
