15A NCAC 11 .1316 PERSONNEL MONITORING (a) No licensee shall permit any individual to act as a logging supervisor or to assist in the handling of sources of radiation unless each such individual wears a personnel dosimeter that is processed and evaluated by an accredited National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) processor. (b) Each personnel dosimeter required in Paragraph (a) of this Rule shall be assigned to and worn by only one individual. (c) Each film badge shall be replaced at least monthly and other personnel dosimeters shall be replaced at least quarterly. Each film badge or other personnel dosimeter shall be submitted for processing within 30 days of replacement. (d) The licensee shall maintain personnel monitoring records for inspection until the agency terminates each pertinent license or registration requiring the record.
