15A NCAC 11 .0901 PURPOSE AND SCOPE (a) This Section establishes procedures for the licensing and the use of particle accelerators. (b) In addition to the requirements of this Section, all licensees are subject to the requirements of Sections .0100, .0200, .1000, and .1600 of this Chapter. Licensees engaged in industrial radiographic operations are subject to the requirements of Section .0500 of this Chapter, and licensees engaged in the healing arts are subject to Rule .0350 of this Chapter and the applicable requirements of Section .0600 of this Chapter. Licensees engaged in the production of radioactive material or possessing radioactive material incidental to an accelerator are subject to the requirements of Section .0300 of this Chapter. (c) In addition to the requirements of this Section, all particle accelerator licensees are subject to the annual fee provisions contained in Section .1100 of this Chapter.
